Seed transmission of soybean mosaic virus in Lupinus albus L

A flexuous rod-shaped virus was isolated from <i>L. albus </i>cv. Hamburg grown from seed in sterile soil in the greenhouse. Transmission of the virus through <i>L. albus </i>cv. Kiev was shown experimentally. Host range and symptomatology, particle morphology, cytoplasmic inclusions and serology indicate that the virus is a str. of SMV
