I began my journey at FABI in 2025 as a part of my BScHons in Genetics. My project under the supervision of Dr Markus Wilken and Dr Kira Lynn was entitled "Hybridisation reshapes nuclear and mitochondrial genomes inC.eucalypticola in Indonesia". As part of my research I aimed to investigate the inheritance of the mitochondria and mating type genes within hybrids of and originating from Indonesia.
Currently, I am a first year MSc student in the Tree Protection Co-operative Programme. My research will focus on temperature tolerance within the pine pathogen Fusarium circinatum.
